The Music Collective Foundation is the brainchild of Jim Masson, aka, Jimmy Rocks. As a lifelong musician and music fan, Jim understands the landscape, the needs and how to help. He is the man with the plan, has vision, talent, experience and is devoted to changing the narrative and putting those first who make music and make music happen.
Electra Posada is known as The Rock-n-Roll Health Chick. Caring deeply about music, the health of musicians and being a Certified Health Coach makes her uniquely dedicated to the mission. She wears many hats including journalist, graphic artist, public relations, recruiter and outreach, patron coordinator and whatever else is needed.
Barbara Lemont is a well-rounded and down-to-earth supporter of music and the service of The Music Collective Foundation. She has a degree in Forestry but worked as a draftsperson most of her career, with a focus on graphic design and editing. We call her "Mom" and wouldn't be here without her support and assistance.
Stan the Man served as a director of nursing homes for many years and is now a Public Defender. He has deep ties to music and the service of others. Stan is the man you want in your corner and can call on for legal direction. He is a major supporter and a good friend of the Foundation.
Suzanne has a BA in communications and has worked in broadcasting, production, sales and advertising, small business ownership, plus had her own bands. She is now a yoga instructor. Suzanne helps with creative direction and is a supportive friend of our Collective.
Will, aka "Montana," wore many hats in radio over the years. He has traveled the world as an animal and environmental conservationist. He also worked in television and with several zoos. He has been a show host, education director, animal breeder and is now writing about and sharing his adventures. He continues to be a fan and strong supporter of our work.
Earl, aka Bo or Shaky Earl, is a mover and a shaker in the worlds of health and the environment. If it can be grown to benefit people and the planet, he's game. He is also a skilled musician, known for his talents with the banjo, and his righteousness and moral compass. Earl sees the injustices in the world and helps us make them right.
Dana Rasmussen is a talented musician and photographer. When not assisting and photographing during horse training, he is on vocals and guitar with his band. He was the producer and host for The Last DJs series on our partner station, ElectraLandRadio.net.
When Ron Haynes isn't running kitchens for colleges or restaurants, or creating unique menus and dining fare, he is donating his time and expertise to his favorite charity. He has served as chairman of their board and as their president. Ron is also a music fan and supports our work.
Mike wears many musical hats, ranging from singer and guitarist, instrument repair, music shop owner and even butterfly wrangler. Mike is a well-known and beloved member of the music community who grew up around some of the most notorious pickers and grinners. If you ask "real nice like," he might even play at your wedding! Mike will bring great things to our mission.
Jeff has specialized in music and technology. He has left his mark on both with accomplishments ranging from concert production to developing new information technologies. He is devoted to creating community, preserving musical history and providing all ages with opportunities to learn and enjoy musical creation. Jeff shares our vision and is an important ally and supporter.
